Why can’t you just give me a price over the phone?
Well, to start…because you deserve better! We honestly believe that. You deserve to KNOW and TRUST who is designing your project, caring for your property, and providing future service or maintenance needs. This might seem a little old school, but as 6th generation Idahoans with deep roots in the Treasure Valley we value connecting with YOU as an important member of the community we love. Not only is this a huge part of why we love what we do, but it’s also key in making sure we are designing for YOU and for the unique needs of your property, lifestyle, and preferences. We care too much to give you the “Walmart self-checkout” equivalent for your lighting project.

Silver Bells is a small, local, family-owned business and is NOT part of a franchise. Our owners and founders, Travis and Chelsea, grew up in the Treasure Valley, met in high school, and started Silver Bells out of their Nampa home in 2015 after a big career change. Silver Bells was born from a young girl’s aptitude for design plus a splash of business savviness combined with the charm and work ethic of a true Idaho farm boy. From the beginning, we’ve been committed to authenticity and serving our customers at an elevated level. We’ve learned a lot since those early days with many years of experience and continual investments in coaching, training, networking with top lighting designers and business professionals, and researching to continually hone our craft and be at the forefront of our industry. Silver Bells is committed to doing things the right way…it’s just part of who we are and how we were raised.
What forms of payment can I use? When is payment due?
We have lots of options to make getting the lighting of your dreams convenient and affordable. In addition to accepting cash, checks, e-check/ACH, and debit/credit card payments, we also offer financing. Making payments is easy with options to pay online, in person, or over the phone.
We require a deposit to schedule with the remaining balance due upon installation for most services. Wedding and event lighting services follow a different payment structure with additional payments due 90 days and 30 days prior to your event.
What areas do you service?
We offer all of our outdoor lighting services within the Treasure Valley, including Boise, Garden City, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, and Middleton.
Our all-inclusive Christmas lights services are only offered in the areas listed above; however, we do offer services for landscape lighting, permanent Christmas lights, bistro lighting, wedding/event lighting, and outdoor audio to surrounding areas (e.g. Emmett, Fruitland, Marsing, Melba, etc.) as well as the McCall and Sun Valley areas.
We will gladly travel outside our primary service areas for the right projects – please reach out to discuss details.
How long have you been doing professional lighting? How many projects have you done?
Silver Bells has been doing professional lighting in the Boise area since 2015. Our design team has a combined 20+ years in professional lighting and 30+ years of professional landscaping. Additionally, we are actively involved in continuing education and training to ensure that we can bring the very best of our industry to the Treasure Valley.
Silver Bells has completed over 2,300 professional lighting installations in the Boise area – all thanks to our incredible customers who have trusted us with their projects and our fully developed and dedicated team that is eager to serve.
Are you licensed and insured? Do you have worker’s comp?
Of course! We have full insurance coverage for every aspect of our business including general liability coverage and workers compensation for your protection and peace of mind. Don’t be shy about asking for proof of coverage – we won’t mind!
Do you offer financing?
You bet! We offer financing to give you the best payment options for your project. We have multiple plans to choose from. The application is quick and easy with most approvals within minutes.
I’m outside your service area – Will you travel?
For the right project, absolutely! Travel fees and minimums may apply. Please call our office to get started!
I can get lights at Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Amazon for way less – Why?
